Each project has a different beginning. Even if it’s just an idea right now, we can help by walking you through the steps to make your dream into reality. The process starts with a floor plan and a lot.
It’s important to design a house that fits the lot, so the lot search usually comes first. We are happy to help in the search for your lot. It’s never too early to call and start planning, and there are no silly questions. We are here to help!
2. How much will it cost to build a new home?
We provide our clients with an accurate, comprehensive bid based on the exact plan you choose and features that you want. We start the selection process of features with you prior to providing a final bid so that we can factor your actual selections into your total cost.
Not only are you provided with a very accurate bid, but this strategy also minimizes the need for change orders during the construction process.
3. Is there a warranty on the home after I purchase (or build) and move in?
Every licensed builder in the state of Louisiana is required by law to provide homeowners with a signed copy of the New Home Warranty Act as a part of their signed contract in order to protect homeowner’s interest in their properties. The warranty act provides homeowners with information about state require warranties.
Canebrake Builders provides clients with warranties for products used in the home (Roofing,A/C heaters, appliances, etc..) and also provides extended warranties for cosmetic damage all built in the cost of the home. Please review our Warranty Information page for details.
4. What is the Home Building Process?
